A rough picture is enough. Working out the detail is part of what we do together.
Signup is by invitation for now, because we set up each fleet with its owner.
Choose your servers, or keep the ones you have
Fleet runs on servers you rent, on your own accounts.
If you already have servers, they can stay. Fleet joins them without rebuilding what is on them.
If you do not, we tell you what to rent and where: how many servers, how big, and from which provider. A second server is worth having, because that is where the second copy of your backups lives.
Joining a server to your fleet is one line, pasted on the server. It installs what it needs and opens nothing on your server to the internet. We can do this part with you.
You pay the provider directly. We do not resell servers or mark them up.
We bring your businesses in, with you
This is the setup, and you are not left to do it alone.
Each business comes across whole: its websites and apps, their databases, its domains and its email. Sites on shared hosting are included. They move onto one of your servers as part of setup.
Everything is checked before anything is switched. Your sites keep serving from where they are until the copy is ready and has been checked.
When we did this for our own fleet, 34 businesses across three servers came in on the first import.

Most weeks, you will not need to do anything.
Your businesses are one click away, from your desk or your phone. Fleet tells you when something needs you, and tells you what to press.
And when something is wrong, you talk to a person who knows how your fleet is set up.
